Learn, Explore & Excel in English!
The Hippo Summer Camp is an immersive English-language experience designed for students eager to advance their skills, or simply enjoy an international learning adventure. Open to students who did not qualify for the Play-Off Qualifiers but wish to travel to one of the three Play-Off Qualifier venues without competing for a spot in the World Finals, the camp combines intensive English learning with fun cultural and recreational activities.

All students registered for the Hippo 2026 edition.
Camp Venues
The Hippo Summer Camp will take place alongside the Play-Off Qualifiers in three exciting international locations:
- UK – a dynamic learning environment combined with British culture and history
- Doha, Qatar – offering a unique Middle Eastern experience and immersive English lessons
- Cluj, Romania – a vibrant European city where children enjoy endless fun and families explore culture and learning.
Program Highlights
- Tailor-made English Lessons: Classes are taught by qualified Hippo-trained teachers, with a maximum of 20 students per class. Lessons are adapted to the students’ Hippo category and entry test results.
- Cultural and Recreational Activities: All participants enjoy excursions, group activities, and opportunities to explore the host city while practicing English in real-life situations.
- Full Accommodation Package: Accommodation in a supervised college or hotel includes meals, transfers, and 24/7 supervision by trained guardians where applicable.
Travel Arrangements
Students arrange their own travel to and from the camp. All other arrangements, including teaching, materials, meals, accommodation, and excursions, are included in the camp package.
